ZBA approves garage variance, continues two subdivision cases

Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of March 24, 2026

NH WINDHAM — Windham Zoning Board approves a garage variance while delaying two major subdivision applications. The board voted unanimously to grant a variance for a 430-square-foot detached garage on Nottingham Road with a condition restricting residential use. The board also continued two proposals from Edward N.

Herbert Associates, Inc., representing developer Wrap Development III, LLC, to April 21, scheduling additional deliberation on proposed single-family dwellings on Cross Street that would increase nonconformity of undersized lots near Cobbetts Pond. Public comment at the March 24 meeting raised concerns from neighbors regarding drainage impacts, road strain, and neighborhood character consistency, prompting Vice Chair Michelle Stith to request legal counsel consultation before proceeding.
