Windham tracks 16 development projects; Sprouts explores Northeast expansion

NH WINDHAM — Windham Economic Development Committee updates 16 active projects, from retail to residential to sports facilities. Community Development Director Alex Mello reported the Starbucks project on Enterprise Drive secured Planning Board approval, all contractor bays at 135 Rockingham Road are leased, and foundation work began on an Indian Rock Road restaurant. The Sports Complex at 140 Rockingham Road and Windham Woods School Sports Dome on Delahunty Road remain in Planning Board and ZBA review, respectively.

The Arena Square multi-family housing plan for the Gateway District was referred back to the Town ZBA following a petition to the state Housing Appeals Board. Chair Dale Valvo noted that Sprouts Farmers Market is exploring Northeast expansion and has received information about Windham from Committee member Mitch Jacoby.
