The commission, chaired by Peter Griffin, authorized Doreen Demone to purchase mums for the September 12 dedication of Fessenden Mill Park, with the vote passing 4-0. The commission received cost estimates ranging from $35,000 to $40,000 for restoration of approximately 100 deteriorated gravestones at the town cemetery, following discussions with the Cemetery Trustees and Museum Trustees.
