Windham expresses interest in additional water supply rights

Select Board · Meeting of July 13, 2026

NH WINDHAM — Windham Select Board expresses interest in additional water allocation. The Board voted 4-0 to express interest in purchasing up to 110,000 additional gallons per day of water rights from the Southern New Hampshire Regional Water Project at an estimated cost of $392,700, citing long-term water needs. Town Administrator Michael Branley noted the town has sold roughly 100,000 gallons of its initial 200,000-gallon allocation but currently uses only 10,000 daily; any purchase would require a Town Meeting appropriation.

The Board also approved an eviction process for a tax-deeded property at 13 Camelot Road.
