Trustees of Trust Funds approve CD investments for school district accounts
Trustees of the Trust Funds · Meeting of January 6, 2026
NH WINDHAM — Windham Trustees of Trust Funds approve $3 million in CD investments. The board unanimously moved to invest three school district trust accounts in short-term certificates of deposit to generate additional income: the Special Education account ($998,731 in a six-month CD), the Grounds Maintenance account ($1,395,213 in a three-month CD), and the Long Range Technology Fund ($640,027 in a three-month CD). The decision followed consultation with TD Bank and the school district's executive director on anticipated fund-usage timelines.
The trustees will also publicize a Trustee vacancy in the Windham Independent ahead of the March 10 town election.
