NH WINDHAM — Windham Select Board hires police officer, approves septic system waiver for property. The Board voted 4-1 to approve relief from well-separation requirements for a septic system at 8 Fish Road, positioning it 60 feet from an abutting well instead of the required 75 feet. In closed session, the Board authorized three staff hires: Bianca DeSisto as a full-time police officer at $33.81 per hour (Step 1), Erica Schlabach as a part-time records clerk at $27.30 per hour, and Paul D'Amore as a part-time building inspector at $40.30 per hour.
The Board also authorized $4,500 for well improvements at Nashua Road Field, which had been producing only 22 gallons per minute.
