Select Board approves cable upgrade, endorses energy contract

NH WINDHAM — Windham Select Board unanimously approves cable system upgrade and energy contract renewal. The board voted 4-0 to authorize a $45,000 cable television playback system upgrade from Cable Special Funds and to support renewal of the Community Choice Aggregation energy program, projected to save residents $1.1 million by January 2027. The board also appointed Michael Knott as Nesmith Library Trustee, accepted a $4,000 Windham Youth Lacrosse donation for recreation field maintenance, and approved six property tax abatements totaling $546,330 while denying six requests.
Discussion of Searles School driveway safety ended with board approval of signage and temporary barriers, with further review set for August.
