NH WINDHAM — Windham Select Board advances five million facilities study with public engagement plan. The Board heard three architectural concepts for addressing structural deficiencies in the town's five municipal buildings and agreed by consensus to prepare a five million dollar Capital Improvement Plan placeholder, set informational tables at September and November elections, and post study materials online. Architect Tim Olson cited severe structural issues including a missing second egress in Bartley House, overcrowded spaces, and underutilized areas in the Senior Center.
The Board acknowledged that water contamination at the site must be considered in parallel with the facilities discussion. The facilities conversation will resume in January 2027.
