Searles Trustees advance rebranding and warrant articles

NH WINDHAM — Searles Trustees vote to advance rebranding initiative and warrant articles restructuring facility funding. Voting unanimously, the board invited design consultant Trent Saunders of 36 Creative for a free initial meeting to explore rebranding options, seeking to distance the facility from the "school" label and boost event bookings. The Trustees are preparing two warrant articles for the town election, with Article 15 proposing a new Searles School and Chapel Revolving Fund that would, if approved, eliminate future annual ballot funding requests.
The board unanimously approved equipment purchases including 90 new chairs plus 12 additional, 30 seat cushions, and a replacement stove.
