NH WINDHAM — Windham Planning Board appoints officers amid a workplace culture dispute, triggering one member's resignation. Jacob Cross was elected chairman 5-2, with Payal Ballaya and Matt Rounds opposing, on a motion by Greg Balestrieri. Board member Rounds resigned immediately after the vote.
Jack Gattinella was elected vice chairman 5-1, with Ballaya opposing, on a motion by Chairman Cross seconded by Heath Partington. Ballaya raised formal concerns about the board's treatment of female members and lack of code-of-conduct adherence; the board agreed to develop a code of conduct and conduct future leadership discussions via email.
