Historic Commission opposes sports dome at Windham Woods School

NH WINDHAM — Windham Heritage Commission rejects Windham Woods School sports dome. Commission member Brad Dinsmore moved not to support the 125,000-square-foot facility, citing its impact on the historic setting of Range Road and the area surrounding the Searles School and Chapel, which operates as an events venue. The motion passed 3-0, with Chair Peter Griffin recused.

The Commission emphasized the importance of the Searles Chapel's existing use as an events venue to the property's preservation.
