Heritage Commission coordinates town's 250th anniversary planning

Historic District _ Heritage Commission · Meeting of June 4, 2026

NH WINDHAM — Historic District Commission coordinates 250th anniversary and community projects. The commission discussed resource needs for the town's 250th reenactment, identifying one cord of firewood and ten bales of straw, though no volunteers have yet come forward to coordinate parking. The Indian Rock Park project will proceed with private funding after WCTV declined infrastructure support.

Town Hall painting is approximately halfway complete, and Derek Saffie is preparing QR code content for the park while the commission continues coordination efforts with the Conservation Commission on a Fessenden Mill workshop.
