NH WINDHAM — Windham Design Review Subcommittee advises on restaurant building expansion at Range Road. The Planning Board Design Review Subcommittee reviewed a proposal by Karl Dubay of The Dubay Group and property owner Sahal Laher of Nikasa LLC to expand the restaurant at 59 Range Road with a rear building addition, roof patio, and exterior staircase. The committee favored placing the staircase on the left side of the sunroom with a porous paver walkway, rather than the front-right placement recommended by Deputy Chief Saulnier.
Applicants will return with more detailed plans before the project can proceed to Historic District and Heritage Commission review.
