Conservation Commission approves park graffiti removal and memorial benches

Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 9, 2026

NH WINDHAM — Windham Conservation Commission approves $2,650 graffiti removal at Deer Leap. The Commission unanimously hired Great Bay Facility Maintenance Service, Inc., accepting a proposal from Friends of Moeckel Pond representatives Dianna Fallon and Neil Fallon to address graffiti using powdered glass slurry. The Commission also unanimously approved two memorial benches at Fessenden Dam, the first honoring longtime conservation volunteers Carol Pynn and Carolyn Webber, and the second planned for Peter Griffin.

The Commission reviewed three ZBA variance applications affecting wetland buffers but provided comments only, taking no formal votes on the requests.
