Conservation Commission approves emergency signage at 11 conservation areas

NH WINDHAM — Windham Conservation Commission unanimously approves emergency signage at 11 conservation areas and funds multiple property improvements. Chair Kara Feldberg and the board authorized emergency contact signs with GPS coordinates for placement at conservation areas throughout town, approving 4,350 dollars for Golden Meadow parking lot fencing from Gate City Fence Co., up to 1,000 dollars for Clyde Pond post and gate repairs, and up to 100 dollars for temporary wildflower-area fencing. The Commission formally renamed Ashton Park to Gregg Preserve following research by Mark Wimmer documenting the Gregg Family's long property history.
