Conservation Commission approves $75 kiosk repair budget

NH WINDHAM — Windham Conservation Commission approves $75 for Deer Leap kiosk repairs. Vice Chair Wayne Morris and member Dave Curto moved and seconded approval for supplies to repair minor rot damage to the kiosk on Woodbury Road at Deer Leap, with the motion passing unanimously. The commission also provided input on two development applications, finding no significant environmental impact on a 16 Viau Road addition variance and supporting a driveway reconstruction project at 57 Bear Hill Road for safety purposes.

Chair Michael Specian and the commission advanced planning for heritage site improvements at Fessenden Dam, including split-rail fencing, safety enclosure for a historic cellar hole, and rules signage.
