Committee charts Route 111 alternatives, plans summer business promotion

NH WINDHAM — Windham economic panel updates Route 111 traffic plan, preps America 250 business campaign. The Infrastructure Subcommittee reported near-unanimous support for an Alternative 5 design that includes four roundabouts, one retained traffic light, two lanes in each direction, and a central median for the Route 111 corridor; comments are due to NHDOT by May 15. The Promote Windham Subcommittee plans a summer business promotion campaign with an America 250 theme, launching in July with banners and flags for participating businesses, alongside speaker events on business planning (June 24) and financial succession (September 22).
