Committee approves second driveways at two Windham properties

Highway Safety Committee · Meeting of May 6, 2026

NH WINDHAM — The Highway Safety Committee approved second-driveway requests at two residential properties. Chief Byan Smith and Deputy Chief Steve Brady found no safety concerns with either proposal — one at 20 Hancock Road to improve in-law apartment access, the other at 28 Governor Dinsmore Road for equipment storage access. The committee also noted that speed bumps planned for The Searles Chapel will be included in the town's 2026 paving schedule.

Chief Tom McPherson will notify the Board of Selectmen.
