NH WINDHAM — Windham Select Board contracts out general assistance administration as HR director departs. The Board voted 4-0 to engage Greater Derry Community Health for three months following the September departure of Human Resources Director Paula Carmichael after nine years with the town. The Board accepted $53,844 from the Windham Endowment for Senior Center renovation, $26,448 from Primex as a workers' compensation return, and $2,012.39 from Katie Letizio for recreation improvements.
The Board appointed two members to Historic District/Heritage Commission and one to Museum Trustees, supported an ambulance RFP with $683,000 in revolving funds available, and authorized $20,000 for a second well at Nashua Road Field despite Vice Chair Heath Partington's opposition.
