Board authorizes $55,000 financial software purchase

NH WINDHAM — Windham Board of Selectmen authorizes $55,000 software purchase and hires firefighter. Finance Director Cheryl Eastman recommended replacing the existing MUNIS system with MTS Financial Software from MRI, projecting approximately $14,000 in annual savings. The Board voted unanimously to authorize the expenditure.
In personnel matters, the Board hired Andrew Shok as a full-time firefighter and EMT at $29.37 per hour following his on-call service, filling a vacancy created by an upcoming retirement. The Board also unanimously approved 13 of 14 property tax abatement requests totaling $20,921 in assessed-value reductions.
