Beautification Committee allocates funds to Town Hall shutters

Beautification Sub-Committees · Meeting of March 4, 2026

NH WINDHAM — Windham beautification committee shifts warrant funds to shutters. The Town Common Beautification Committee voted 5-0 on March 4 to allocate $25,000 from a 2021 warrant article toward hand-made wood shutters for Town Hall, with each pair costing approximately $1,800 and the committee needing 21 pairs total; the Endowment has committed to funding 1-2 pairs. The committee separately advanced landscaping plans for the Senior Center and Bartley House parking areas, with the walkway project drawing between $20,600 and $26,000 in Beautification funds.

Committee members Cheryl Haas and Michael Branley will coordinate with the Finance Department on remaining landscaping account funds.
